Boomerang Club Gstaad turns the Saanenland into one big playground, creating personal outdoor experiences where children have the space and time to explore, play and grow.
But adventure is only part of the story.
We believe children thrive when they’re not lost in a crowd. That’s why our programmes are built around small groups, personal attention and a caring environment, giving every child the confidence to express themselves, try something new and fully take part in every experience.
Along the way, we encourage something equally important: respect for others, for ourselves and for the world around us. We believe the attitude, kindness and effort we bring to everyday moments have a way of coming back to us. It’s a simple philosophy that sits at the heart of Boomerang.
Our experienced team is there to guide, encourage and get just as muddy as the children, creating real adventures and the kind of days they’ll want to talk about long after they get home.
MEET THE TEAM
WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
Boomerang is, above all, a family story.
It began in 2019 with Marika, originally from the Czech Republic, and a very simple belief: that children need more time outside. More time to climb, explore, get muddy, discover, imagine and experience the kind of freedom that so naturally belongs to childhood.
What started as a wish to create meaningful days in nature slowly grew into something much bigger.
Tom, who is Swiss, shared the same love for the outdoors and the same passion for working with children. When their first child was born in 2022, he joined Boomerang fully, taking responsibility for the operational side of the camps and allowing them to build the project together as a family.
Today, Marika and Tom have three children of their own, and in many ways Boomerang has grown alongside them. Becoming parents has only deepened what they believe in: that childhood does not need to be overcomplicated. Children need space to be curious, to take small risks, to build confidence, to form friendships and to feel connected to the natural world around them.
Living and raising their family in the Saanenland has become an important part of the Boomerang story. The mountains, forests, rivers and seasons continually inspire what they create, and each year the programmes evolve naturally with the landscape, the children and the community around them.
For Marika and Tom, one of the most special parts of Boomerang is watching children return year after year, a little taller, a little braver, and ready for their next adventure.
What began with one simple idea has become something they are incredibly proud to grow together: a place where children can experience the outdoors, create lasting memories and simply enjoy being children.
